Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DoorFrame, the website at doorframevideo.com and the DoorFrame app (together, the "Service"), provided by [DoorFrame legal entity name, state of organization and address] ("DoorFrame", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a business, you accept them for that business.
1. What DoorFrame does
DoorFrame turns listing photos you upload into marketing videos (such as Property Showcase, Signature Reels and Agent Walkthrough) that you may resell to real estate agents. Videos are produced by automated systems, including artificial intelligence ("AI") models operated by us and our service providers, and some revisions are made by human editors. Products, formats and availability may change; the products and prices offered at the time you order are the ones that apply to that order.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You must give a valid email address and verify it before using a workspace.
- You are responsible for your account credentials and for everything done in your workspace, including by team members you invite. Owners control who has access; editors can make changes; viewers can only view.
- Tell us right away at support@doorframevideo.com if you think your account has been used without permission.
3. Your content and the rights you need
- "Your Content" means photos, audio, text, agent information and other material you upload or enter. You keep ownership of Your Content.
- You confirm that you own or are licensed to use Your Content for the videos you order and their resale, including any rights needed from property owners, listing brokers, agents and anyone shown or heard.
- You give DoorFrame and its service providers a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, transform and display Your Content only to provide, secure and support the Service for you, including sending it to the AI and editing providers that make your videos. We do not use Your Content to market DoorFrame or to train general-purpose AI models without your separate permission. [Confirm against each provider's data-use terms before launch.]
- Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, discriminatory under fair housing laws, or that shows people who have not agreed to appear.
4. Agent likeness and clone consent
Some products (such as Agent Walkthrough) present an AI-generated likeness or voice of a real estate agent ("Agent Clone"). You may create or order Agent Clone content only for an agent who has personally given DoorFrame's licensed-likeness consent for that use. The agent can revoke consent at any time; revocation stops new videos with their likeness, and does not affect videos already delivered. You must not use DoorFrame to imitate anyone without consent, and you must not present AI-generated likeness or voice content as an unedited recording of a real event. [Consent form, its signature method and retention period to be finalized with counsel.]
5. AI-generated media
Videos are generated or edited by AI and may contain errors: for example, invented details, altered rooms, inaccurate text or voice. You are responsible for reviewing each video before you deliver, publish or sell it, and for making sure it accurately represents the property and complies with advertising, MLS and fair housing rules. Where required by law or platform rules, label AI-generated or AI-altered content.
6. Prices, payment and taxes
- Prices are shown in US dollars in the app before you order. You add a payment card in Billing; card details are handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and are not stored by DoorFrame.
- You are charged when you purchase: pressing the purchase button charges your saved card once for the videos selected, as one itemized invoice. Videos start processing only after payment succeeds. If your bank requires extra verification or the card is declined, the order waits until you complete payment on Stripe's secure invoice page.
- Each human revision costs $5 and is charged when you send the request. Reporting a defect (our mistake) is free.
- The optional membership is $49 per month, billed in advance each month until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month, and membership prices stop then. [Confirm the Stripe billing portal is set to cancel at period end.]
- Founding Partner terms, where offered, are described in the app and apply only to accounts we have accepted into that program.
- Prices exclude taxes unless stated. You are responsible for any taxes on your resale of videos to your clients.
- Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
7. Revisions and delivery times
Our editors aim to deliver human revisions within 24 hours of the request (time spent waiting for your reply does not count). This is a target, not a guarantee. If our editors cannot make a requested revision, they return it and the $5 fee is refunded. Rendering times shown in the app are estimates.
8. Your use of the videos
Once you have paid for a video, you may download it, use it and resell or license it to the agent, brokerage or seller for marketing the listing it was made for. Music, fonts, templates and other elements we supply are licensed to you only as part of that video and may not be extracted or used separately. You set your own resale prices; DoorFrame is not a party to your agreements with your clients.
9. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: no attempts to access other workspaces, probe or overload our systems, reverse engineer the Service, resell access to the app itself, scrape it, or use it to create unlawful, harassing, sexual or misleading content. We may suspend or remove content or accounts that break these Terms.
10. Ending your account
You may stop using DoorFrame and request deletion of your account from Settings → Your data, or by emailing support@doorframevideo.com. We may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or legal risk, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive (for example payment obligations, licenses you granted for delivered work, disclaimers and limits of liability) survive termination.
11. Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. [Counsel to adapt to applicable consumer law.]
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, DoorFrame is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, and its total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid DoorFrame in the 12 months before the claim. [Counsel to confirm.]
13. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify DoorFrame against third-party claims arising from Your Content, your resale of videos, or your breach of these Terms, including claims by agents, sellers or brokerages about likeness, accuracy or rights.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, email account owners at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the update.
15. Governing law and disputes
[Governing law, venue, and any arbitration or class-action waiver to be decided with counsel.]
